About SORA
A restaurant built on quiet obsession.

SORA was born in an unassuming Mayfair townhouse, its dining room hidden behind a bronze door and a floor-to-ceiling velvet curtain. We wanted fine dining to feel less like a performance and more like a private letter written to each guest.
Chef Aiko Tanaka works with fewer than a dozen suppliers, hand-picked over a decade — a diver in Cornwall, a farmer in Kent, a forager in the Cairngorms. The menu shifts every six weeks, dictated by weather more than fashion.
The room seats thirty. Service takes three hours. Everything is designed to slow you down.
