Our Story
A quiet room, a precise flame, and produce we obsess over.
SORA opened in 2019 with a single conviction: that fine dining should feel cinematic without ever feeling stiff. Chef Aiko Tanaka trained in Kyoto and Copenhagen before making Mayfair her home. Her menu changes with the season, drawing on British farms and coastlines she has spent a decade cultivating relationships with.
Every service is a slow, considered piece of theatre — thirty guests, twenty hands in the kitchen, one long evening to remember.
